Today is the day, an exciting day but a little bit of a sad day too. Today Jo is 6. 6 sounds SO much older than 5. He won’t be starting school, he is IN school. Before I know it his teeth will begin to move and then fall out. Kindergarten still made me think of him as a *baby.* But first grade makes him sound like a big boy. His face is changing every day, no more chubby cheeks.
The time is going by all too quickly and I realize that what he needs the most from me is T-I-M-E.
So, with that said, I am taking the day off, spending his day with him and my family.
