I woke up around 6 a.m. It was still dark. I went out to the balcony of my hotel room and gazed into the darkness. The sound of the waves crashing and the millions of stars above, reminded me of just how big my God is and just how much he has blessed me in SO MANY ways. One being that I can do what I love. My job is my passion, my passion is my job. I have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. Clients who I think of more than just clients, but friends.

This session was no exception to the great sessions I always encounter. It was a cool morning. We met at 6:45 a.m. at Clearwater beach. As I drove to where we were to meet I watched as the sun rose from the west turning the sky all sorts of pinks and oranges. I knew it was going to be a great day and a great day it was!

To the “D” family, thank you for making the trip so early in the morning. I had a blast with you. Thank you for letting the kids be kids, for letting them throw seashells, build sandcastles, and get wet (fully clothed.) I hope you cherish these images forever.

“First Looks” are becoming more and more the norm these days. While I understand that some bride and grooms like to stick with tradition and wait to see each other until the ceremony, I get really excited when couples decide to see each other prior. It’s such an intimate and emotional experience. No one else is around (except me in the background.) Not to mention it gives more time for photographs of just the bride and groom.
Ashlee and Justin decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. This was probably one of the most emotional “first looks” I’ve witnessed. I think I was even crying.

Meet the P Family. I photograph them every year and every year it just gets better! I absolutely adore them and have loved watching the girls grow over the last few years. So, take a really sweet family, add the beach, a beautiful Florida day and what do you get? Pure Fabulous-ness. (Is that a word?) It seems like each year tops the last. The girls had a blast running down hills, building sand castles, climbing rocks, and getting wet.

P Family, it was so great to see you again. I had such a great time!!! Tell the girls hi for me.

What a beautiful day for a wedding. The sky a bright blue, a nice breeze, and the sun peeking it’s way through the trees. I had been looking forward to Ashlee and Justin’s fall wedding. I knew it would be perfect. Ashlee seemed calm, if she was nervous it didn’t show. She looked beautiful in her dress. Justin sensitive side came out when he saw his bride for the first time. I was more than thrilled when they decided to have a “first look” prior to the ceremony (More on that later.)

Justin and Ashlee, thank you for choosing me to capture your special day. It was truly an honor to be a part of your wedding. I wish you many years of happiness and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your little man’s life. I have enjoyed getting to know him over the years!
