Newborn Tristan : Winter Haven, Lakeland, Orlando, Tampa Newborn Photographer

I met Tristan’s mommy at a wedding I shot last year. I was so excited to hear from her recently that Tristan had arrived. The day we shot was a typical Florida summer day…hot and humid with a chance of afternoon showers. It rained most of the afternoon but stopped right before our session. This newborn session was shot completely outdoors. Tristan did great. He is such a laid back newborn and beautiful too.
Congratluations to all of you!

Redneck Swimming Pool : Tampa and Orlando Florida Modern Candid Children’s Photographer

We spent the week at “Gamaw’s” (as JC so endearingly calls her). My husband is in Afghanistan (coming home tomorrow YAHOO!!). I originally went out there because my mom has been in bad shape health-wise. We made a trip to the ER. At the end of the week she seemed to be improving. I am praying that she will begin to turn around now.

So, my mom lives out in the country. She lives a simple life as she likes to call it. The boys absolutely LOVE going to her house. Although she know longer has the variety of animals she used to, she still has many dogs, many cats, oh and a goose, who J and J refer to as “goosey.” Oh wait, and don’t let me forget her deranged (sorry mom), Cockatoo, Opus.

So, with all of these animals rather she has so kindly provided them with a kiddie pool full of water and an old bathtub (I like to refer to as the redneck swimming pool). The boys dig getting into the “pool.” We are all about improvising.
WAIT!! It doesn’t stop there. My brother and I decided to get the boys a slip and slide. No luck at Walmart so we made our own out of visqueen. After hours of slipping and sliding and sore body parts, J brought the boogie board out. Unfortunately I don’t have pics of that.

Now he’s got it.

I don’t get many of my sweet first born anymore. He tends to shun the camera. But when I do, it makes my heart very happy.

Carson Bear : Tampa and Orlando Modern Candid Newborn Photographer

I first met Larry and Tyger when I photographed their engagement session. They were such a blast to work with so when they hired me to photograph their wedding I was thrilled. I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of their immediate family over the last few years.
Now almost 2 years later I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph their brand new baby boy. He was one of biggest newborns to date, 10 lbs. 5 oz. He is absolutely beautiful and I was so excited to see his head full of dark hair. As most newborn sessions go for me, Carson was wide awake the first part of the session. With time and patience, and the heat from a Florida day in July, he was soon snoozing so good that we were able to do a lot without him evening making a peep. We were sweating outside, but I always find that my newborns do best in the heat, they sleep so soundly.

First up, just a pic from Larry and Tyger’s beautiful wedding.

And now for sweet, sweet Carson.

Mr. Hayden and his Green Fish : Central Florida, Lakeland, Tampa, Orlando Photojournalistic Candid Children’s Photographer

Hayden was serious when we first met last week. I don’t think he was quite sure about playing in the *alley.* That soon was forgotten when I brought the red trike out which just so happened to match his red shirt (no, that wasn’t planned), and when I suggested that he play in the puddle, well what child doesn’t want to splash in a puddle? I loved watching him get waaaayy back and run and jump. SPLASH!!
I had a blast photographing him.

Oh yeah, and how can I forget his green fish. Hayden loves fish. No wonder he loved splashing in that puddle so much.

Amie and Tim, thank you for bringing Hayden out. It was so great seeing you. I’ll be in touch soon with your slideshow.

In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek.
