*UPDATE* I have had some couples who would really like to be a part of the contest who are not *newleyweds.* So, I would like to open this up to ALL couples. If you are interested in a free session, please read below. Dates have been extended to allow for those interested couples to submit their stories.

Yes, you read correctly. Rachel Absher Photography will be giving away a complimentary session to a deserving couple. The winning couple will receive one of the following sessions: engagement session, After the Wedding session, or Trash the Dress session as wall as a large wall portrait featuring one of their favorite photos from the session. Sessions include unlimited locations, clothing changes, and guaranteed fun. Couples must be engaged or newlyweds (married between 2007-2009). To enter, please submit your *special* story. You may also nominate a couple whom you think deserves a complimentary session. Share your/their love story, what makes the relationship unique and why you think you/the couple you are nominating should win the complimentary session.
All submissions should be emailed to: photosbyrachel@aol.com with the subject line reading “Free Session Contest”
Please include the following:
1. The couple’s unique story and why they deserve to win.
2. A recent photo of the couple.
3. Name, email address, and contact phone number.
4. Wedding date.

All entries must be submitted by May 31 June 7. Voting will begin on June 1 June 8. Winners will be announced June 8 June 15.

The boys decided to build a fort today in my dark, dark living room.

What can I say about Kelly and Randy? They are such a sweet couple. I photographed their beautiful family a couple of months ago. I may have captured them with my camera but they captured me with their love for each other. Kelly and Randy’s love for each other is more than evident. When you spend time with them, you can just see it in their eyes, the way he grabs her hand, the way she looks at him. It was truly a pleasure to photograph such a special day for them.

Kelly and Randy (and you three sweet kidlets), thank you for choosing me to be a part of such a special time in your lives. You are such a sweet family and I am honored to photograph all of you!!

I have been dying to use this antique buggy for quite some time. I was so excited when I finally found the perfect little sweetie to sit in it. (Some of you may recognize it from a previous post when I tried it out with my 2.5 year old.)

I had such a great time photographing this family.
