Happy Friday and The FACES of Breast Cancer Unveiling

Last night was The Faces of Breast Cancer book unveiling. The event was amazing. We had 150 people attend and raised $6000!! WOW! The night was filled with emotion. We did a private viewing for the ladies in the book before we unveiled the book to the public. I can’t begin to express the emotion in the room. I feel so honored, so blessed to have been a part of these women’s lives. To say I’ve been touched by this project is an understatement.
We still have books for sale. If you are interested in purchasing a book, please email me at photosbyrachel@aol.com
The book is $50 and ALL proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen 3 day.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Tracey, Angela, all the ladies, and the Watson Clinic Center for Cancer Research and Care for EVERYTHING!!
For those of you who couldn’t come last night, here is the cover.

Georgia Visitors

I had some visitors from Georgia last week. Let me tell you, I had a BLAST during this session. Miss *K* (and her mommy) were a riot. (Dad was a huge help…thanks so much, *G* for lugging that crate around!!)
I am so glad when mom and dad trust my vision. I know I can take you all on some crazy adventures, to some crazy places…places you would never think would “work” in a photo. But you trust me and I thank you for that. I am so excited to share this session! I have SO many favorites and I can’t post them all so I just grabbed a few.

*S*, I should have your slideshow ready by the first of next week. In the mean time, enjoy these sneak peeks! :) Thanks again for making the trip down, next time you HAVE to bring “THE CAR”!! ;)

*Look at these blue eyes!!*

Meet the *P* Family

I had SOOO much fun at this session. The weather was perfect, well perfect for Florida anyway. There was a nice breeze on the golf course, we had some overcast skies (which is my favorite light to shoot in). Mr. *B* was such a sweetie. I had so much fun playing with him. And Little *L*, well he just melted my heart. He is so precious, he barely made a peep during the entire session. One more reason I love shooting outdoors.

*J*, here is a little sneaky peek. Thanks so much for trusting my vision and for having fun with the kids. :) I really enjoyed myself. A big thank you to your mom as well. She was a great help. (I’ve been having the pleasure of meeting the grandmothers lately and it has truly been a blessing having them there.)

A couple more of Baby *O*

I couldn’t resist putting a couple more up of baby *O*. Isn’t he precious?! After about 4 hours we took him outside and he slept SO good. These are some of my favorites from the session.
