Trash the Dress Session

I know some of you are anxiously waiting on me to post some photos from the Trash the Dress Session. ;) Some of you are wondering just what is a Trash the Dress Session. Read more about it hereYashira and Lindsey both agreed to doing a Trash the Dress Session with me a few weeks ago. I have to tell you this is one of those things that you have to be sure about. Trashing your wedding dress (prom dresses are next!) can be a scary thought. But, let’s think about it, is your daughter really going to wear it when she get’s married? Probably not. What good is it doing air sealed in a box/bag? If you want to preserve it, hang it on the wall. Okay, so hanging it on the wall really isn’t really an option. So, why not wear it one last time, have fun in it and have photos to preserve the beauty of your dress? These aren’t just ordinary photos as you will see below. These are works of art. So, why not! The best thing about these sessions is you aren’t worried about getting it dirty so you can be carefree, relaxed and have fun. I’ve got a list of girls who are ready to do this. If you are interested, please let me know and I will add you. I am offering a couple more complimentary Trash the Dress Sessions to *get the word out.* After that Trash the Dress Sessions will be added to my portrait services. The only thing I ask is you TRUST ME and be willing to TRASH IT!So, without further ado…first up, is Yashira. Y~Thanks so much for trusting me. I know the water creeped you out at first. But one of my favorite photos from the session is of you in the water! You will see it below. I am not completely finished proofing but wanted to give you a sneak peek.I only ask that you write about your experience in the comments box. Be completely honest. My Favorite of Yashira. I love it for so many reasons! Isn’t she gorgeous!!??!!yAnd here is her slideshow.

And more from the family session…

(Scroll down for full story) Here is Miss *M*. Gosh, I can remember when she was two. I loved babysitting her. Her smile was so sweet (and still is). Who would have thought I’d be seeing her smile again 10 years later.

*M* reminds me so much of myself when I was younger. She has a motherly instinct. She looks out for her younger siblings. I watched as her brother was left behind while the kids were racing and *M* went back, grabbed his hand and made sure he made it to the finish. She is so sweet, so kind, and has such a tender heart.

*M*, I had so much fun with you, especially at the end of the day. I loved watching you “catch the sun” with your sister. You have a beautiful smile and I am so glad I got to see it again after all of these years.

I’m a little behind…

On everything. These past couple of weeks have been very hectic. Late nights and early mornings for me. I am meeting my deadlines for proofing but not without sacrifice. Sleep is so overrated! lol But 3:30 a.m. bedtimes just aren’t working for me. I think it is finally catching up. I am feeling a little under the weather today.

Anyway, I have been so anxious to share more from my family session last week. I planned to do one child a day. I want to stick with my original plan and give each child their own *post.* So, this post is for the other *Miss K.* She is a twin with the most gorgeous eyes. She seemed wise beyond her years. In the short time we spent together I could see what a kind heart she has.

K, I am looking forward to seeing you again. Thank you for all the fun we had.
