The boys and I headed up to North Carolina (near Asheville) for a few days to visit with Grammy and Grandpa. The weather was cool and crisp. The view from my dad’s house… spectacular! Mountains surrounded us. Grandpa has a huge hill in his front yard that the boys loved running up and down. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any snow, Jonah was praying every day and night for it. We had an awesome time and one of the highlights was our trip on the Polar Express. Such a magical experience that none of us will ever forget.

I seriously want to photograph a wedding like this!!!

WOW! Words can’t express how fun this session was. We spent most of the day on their boat cruising the water on a beautiful day. We stopped at an island and ate some lunch, swam at the sandbar and just had an awesome time.

So, the day started off like any other. BUSY! Nap times are few and far between these days for Mr. Jace. So, when I laid him down in his bed and went downstairs and heard nothing, I sighed with relief, thinking I may just be able to get some work done. I heard him talking quietly which he usually does before he falls asleep. About 30 minutes passed and I hear little footsteps creeping down the stairs. I turn around in my desk chair to see a pale, white, little boy standing before me. Well, I’ll just let the video tell the rest of the story.

P.S. The song at the end was just because I was feeling a little *old skool* when I put the video together last night. HA!

P.P.S. Later that evening I went upstairs to find almost EVERY key of my macbook pro. Apparently he snuck out of his room without me knowing and had a field day with my laptop.
