As I am finishing up proofing Bethany and Ryan’s wedding I came across a few more that I just adore. Not sure how I left these out. I figured they were deserving of their own post. P.S. I love hydrangeas. Lombard St = Lots of Hydrangeas. I love Lombard St.

I met Bethany a few years ago on the internet. Yeah, we met online. Bethany is a photographer who lives in Tacoma. She is full of life and love and passion. Bethany and I corresponded before there was a Ryan. I knew one day that God would pick out that perfect person for her and He did. I had heard so much about Ryan from the time Bethany met him. Her love for him shined through in our correspondence with each other. I love photographing people in love so I knew that their wedding was going to be amazing.

Bethany and Ryan did a first look. I love when brides and grooms see each other before the ceremony. Such an intimate moment with just the two of them.
After the first look we headed to catch the BART to go downtown. What a fun ride. Bethany and Ryan’s wedding party were an absolute blast. We walked the streets of San Francisco and I was lucky enough to experience carrying (okay pulling) a 30 + pound camera bag up a 90 degree incline. No, really, it had to be 90 degrees.
But it was so worth it. We shot so many amazing images in so many great locations. I only wish I could share them all.

Here is a sneak peek from Ryan and Bethany’s amazing San Francisco wedding.

It was a simple ceremony, no bridal party, just her son and his parents. I met John and Daphne at The Vinoy in St. Pete. I spotted the both of them as soon as I walked in, her in her strapless dress, adorned with ruffles at the bottom. Daphne was an absolutely stunning bride. She seriously looked like she just stepped out of a bridal magazine. John, in his tux, looking handsome and ready to marry his beautiful bride. I photographed them at the Vinoy before we headed to Ft. De Soto Beach where their ceremony would take place. Once we arrived we took a short walk to a beautiful spot, ocean on one side, an inlet on the other.

As much as I love everything about shooting big weddings, the getting ready, the details, the guests, the reception, sometimes these small, intimate ceremonies can be so special!

Daphne and John, thank you for choosing me to capture your special day. It was truly an honor to spend the evening with you.

Awesome bride, awesome groom, awesome wedding party! Amanda and Kyle’s wedding took place on a hot July day. Hot is actually an understatement, right Amanda? Although the temperatures were high, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The sun shone bright. For those of you who live in Florida or have been to Florida in June or July you know that this time of year is usually rainy. So, I was so thankful for the sun.

Amanda and Kyle, I’d like to thank you, your family, and your friends once again for making me feel so welcome on your special day. I thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding.
