San Francisco Lifestyle Wedding Photographer

I just returned from photographing Bethany and Ryan’s wedding in San Francisco. WOW! What an amazing trip. I have a ton to catch up on including blogging part two of Amanda and Kyle’s wedding, blogging Daphne and John’s wedding and catching up on proofing, slideshows, returning emails, and album designing. Thank you all for your patience. And because posting a blog is no fun without some pretty photos to look at, here are a few from Bethany and Ryan’s wedding and Day After session.

Here are Bethany and Ryan on their wedding day on the infamous Lombard Street. I.LOVE.HYDRANGEAS. They are my favorite flower (along with tulips.)

And a few from their Day After Session at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz.

Courtney and Frank : Day After Session | Key West Modern Wedding Photographer

I was so excited when Courtney told me she wanted to do a Day After session. For those readers who do not know, Day After sessions are when the bride gets back in her wedding dress and the we go out and do another session. The bride isn’t as worried about her dress getting a little dirt on it. Also, with all the festivities of the wedding day (getting ready, ceremony, reception) we don’t always have a lot of time after the ceremony with the bride and groom. That is why I love Day After sessions. I spent a couple hours with my brides and grooms exploring different locations and having fun. What bride wouldn’t want to get in her dress again?! Oh, and day after session do not have to be the day after the wedding. I have brides who come to me months later.
P.S. Not all day after sessions include getting your dress wet. We were in Key West, there was a big, beautiful ocean in front of us so we figured, WHY NOT?!

Love this of Courtney thanking her audience. :) They must have thought we were crazy walking through the water and climbing these rocks.

Amy and Nick Vintage Inspired Session at the Airport: Central Florida, Tampa, and Orlando Vintage Photographer

I ADORE this couple! You may recognize them from here and here. I first met Amy and Nick prior to shooting their wedding last April. In just the short time that I’ve gotten to know the both of them I have come to see just how much they love each other and how much they care about other people. These two are a dream to work with. I put them in a smoldering airplane and basically told them to make out. Guess what, they did, and they did it with a smile. LOL

I am so excited about this session. We shot at a small airport with a vintage inspired theme. We topped it off with flying Amy and Nick off into the sunset.
